About Jim
I’m Jim Erwin—a pastor, chaplain, and author. My work brings me alongside people navigating grief, caregiving, illness, and the questions that give life meaning.
I have served as a pastor for over 25 years, leading churches in Texas, Germany, and Missouri. I also bring 10 years of experience as a chaplain and currently serve with Mercy Hospital in Cassville and Aurora, Missouri.
I am a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), and I completed my clinical pastoral education units through ACPE. My background brings together pastoral ministry and clinical chaplaincy. I also help others learn about spiritual care and faith.
Through Sacratopia and my writing, including The Coming of Christ, I share encouragement and resources for life’s difficult transitions. I believe in listening with care, making room for honest questions, and helping people reconnect with what matters most.
